Vacation of Signal Road Project #1006520	Signal Road from Barstow to Ventura Boulevard	August 26, 2010 letter from D.R. Horton's contractor May 17, 2010 letter from Hope to DRB Request to vacate Signal Plan for Alameda alignment Opinion poll results (updated 10/20)	August 2010: The developer for the portion north of Desert Vista is requesting another extension - this time 3 months. See the letter at the left. The DRB heard a request on 10/21/09 for the vacation of Signal from Carrington to Ventura. The request for vacation was denied because it was not shown how this would benefit the community. There was no appeal. The trustees for the Hope Episcopal are now exploring a request for a hearing to vacate just the portion from Carrington to Mendocino.
Eubank Boulevard widening	Eubank Boulevard from Academy to Paseo del Norte	October 2009 Newsletter with plan from Bernalillo County	Bernalillo County is beginning a major project. Eubank from San Antonio to Paseo del Norte will be two lanes each way with a median.
North Domingo Baca City Park	Northwest of the intersection of Wyoming and Carmel	Presentation	We have a dog park, a skate park, and a playground so far. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Multi Generational center will occur on Thursday Oct 1 at 7520 Carmel NE; near the corner of Wyoming and Carmel at 11 AM. RSVP to Teresa Sanchez at 764-6469 if you plan to attend. Funding for the park is on the October 6 ballot.
Ventura Plaza Project number 1006602	Southwest corner of Paseo del Norte and Ventura	Plan Elevation Landscaping	Walgreen's expects to open their doors on Wednesday, 10/28. There is no other contruction planned at this site at this time.
Hope Episcopal Church	Between Signal and Alameda, between Barstow and Ventura	Plan	The Church is completed and holding services. The healing center and parish hall do not have start dates yet. They are waiting on a resolution of the issue of whether or not Signal will be closed from Carrington to Ventura. When this is resolved they can complete their Signal frontage.
9100 Holly Project number 1000523	Triangular lot north of Albertson's	no plans	This land was repossessed by the owner's bank. VENA contacted the city zoning enforcement office about the debris, the fence, etc. The city cleaned up the lot and put an lien on the property for the cost.
Hope Plaza	Between Signal and Alameda, between Barstow and Ventura	Elevation	We think this project is completed.
Vintner Court	Between Vineyard IV and Wilshire Boulevard	Plan	These six homes appear to be completed.
